Just did first Bicep injection....

It was much easier than I anticipated! I used a 1.5 inch needle and pushed it all the way in. Is there such a thing as going too deep on a bi injection?

My ass cheeks are thanking me big time right now.

Damn, you must have huge bi's.. If you didn't hit bone, I suppose it's ok... Most people use 5/8" needles, 1" needles if you have larger bi's... Never heard of many people doing bi injects with 1/5" pins.... I would get smaller pins because it may just have been luck that you didn't hit bone... You will want to kill yourself if you hit bone, because it will hurt so much.

well i've got a ton of 1.5 inch pins, so i guess i'll just have to be careful and not push them in all the way.

my arms are about 19.5 inches.

yeh, 1.5 is way long for the bi. If thats all you have, take a plastic cap and trip it to the depth you want and leave it on the needle, with the lenght you want sticking out, that way you don't have to try holding it at the right depth

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm sittin on a shitload of 1.5" pins so I use them for everything, I am just carefull not to go in to deep on bi, delt and quad injects.

Guys, this has been mentioned already and is so easy. Take the cap off the syringe and cut about 3/4 of an inch off and then put the bottom part of it back on, then when you inject it will stop when it hits the part of the cap that is left around the bottom part of the needle. When I do bis I only go in 5/8 of an inch. I'd seriously not go 1.5 inches in.

I've used 1.5 for bi's and pushed all the way in with no problems. I now use 1's and can't tell the diffrence.
