I think it can be perfectly acceptable to be attracted to women that are 16+ (most of them have physically matured, entirely by then) and contrary to what our country thinks, I dont think its taking advantage of a girl if she is 16 and she aggrees to have sex with you.

And with the rare exception, most 16 year olds look like...well...16 year olds. If this is really an issue for some guys then maybe the answer is therapy and not changing the law. Given what I have read on this thread I would favor stricter monitoring and enforcement. I never realized more than a relative handful of guys are jerking off to thoughts of children

Bro, I like you, but your reply was sooo deadeningly PC. A 16 year old is off limits? I have met 16 year olds much more mature than most 18 year olds. I have had sex with one 16 year old (legally) because we both wanted it. Does that mean I'm intimidated by women my age? Was she a victim? Yes it's wrong, because it isnt about what you may or may not consider "mature." She is a child in the legal care of her parents. She is a child still finsishing a natural biological growth process that demonstrably can be evidenced to leave her mentally and emotionally less capable that a woman who has already completed puberty. She is a child because at that age she does not have the financial or emplyment resources necessary to care for any consequences of her decisions.
No one on this thread, including yourself, has demonstrated any sound reason as to why it would be in either the childs or societies best interest to change the law. Not a single one.
The fact that you wish to legally bang high school girls without consequence is not a relevant concern

Mostly, people in China and Hong Kong think it is strange that in many place in the US 18 is the age of consent. I have asked around.
People are always developing in some ways, while at 16 girls are already finished with skeletal growth. 18 is arbitrary, or just based on the end of high school or the age of voting. Women are generally always in a relative financial position of dependence, and women are often expected to be "victims".
