1 of these caffeine pills = 2 cups of coffee. so 2 pills is almost a full pot, 3 pills is over a full pot of coffee, plus ephedrine and he drank lots of coffee he said, so we are talking probably at least 2 pots of coffee and a bunch of ephedrine :goof:

It depends on the pill (8 to 25mg) and the coffee (from an italian espresso to a watery cheap coffee)

looking at the vivarin box says 1 pill = 1 cup of coffee
I can't believe that though, I can drink 4 cups of coffee but 2 of these pills has me sweating.

Perhaps the caffeine from coffee hits you more slowly, while pills are more of a concentrated dose? I dunno.

Pills = pure caffeine

Coffee = caffeine (exact same molecule) + a whole other molecules that may interact with each other

Yeah, I have MegaPro caffeine tabs (200mg) and it says each tab is "one or two cups of coffee" so I figured you were probably right.
 
From what I gather, actual coffee, and thus the caffeine, has a much higher bioavailability. I use generic caffeine pills (rarely drink coffee) and they seem like 100mg or so, while they are marked 200mg.

I'm surprised, with all the talk of caffeine, ephedra, ephedrine and college that no one has made mention of the ringleader of them all... Adderall.

Never used Adderall. Clen rules, though. Although I felt like shit when I stopped taking it.

adderall, I"m sure someone can explain the physiology of it better than me but I think it's basically an amphetamine like speed

I love it, it's for kidd with ADD but man when I take one of those 30mg pills I am flying focused as a laser all day. It got me through a few nights in college. I can't sleep though I'm usually up until 3 or 4am. I can see how someone would become addicted. My brother's friend built up such a tolerance that she was addicted at 4 30mg pills per day, her mother was taking 8. so yes it is very addictive.
