Its a bitch getting old?

I feel you bro!! I'm 32 and pulled my back out last Tuesday. I haven't been to the gym since. I feel like a bum Lol. I went to the dr, he gave me gave me a script for "Flector" patches. It's like a icy hot times 10. It was so bad I would cough, or sneeze I'd be in sooooo much pain. It deff does suck getting old bro. Good luck man. I've been also living on Aleve since last Tuesday.

The worst part is hurting yourself with an exercise you do all the time and then the healing taking forever. I just read radar's what's the hurry thread, and IIRC you said you were 37. ;)

Don't let em get on u to bad Arab im 39 and the body just doesn't heal like it used to. Got outta form last week on Deads and a few flexoril and a trip to the chiro later I was good as new. Lmao great thread bro!

It does happen as we get older. I do try to think of it only as a number.
 
Fuck, I feel like I didn't reach my peak until 40 an didn't feel a decline till 47. 10 years later I'm still killing it.
 
luckily as we get older we get wiser.

When i was young I didnt care much about post workout nutrition, pre workout nutrition, supps, rest, recover, stretching, warming up, foam rolling, etc etc..

just walked in killed myself and then whatever..

now I am also much more in tune w/ my body and know when i need to take it easy or when i can go a little crazy.

Arabian, my brother! Sorry to hear that news but you will be good in no time. I agree with tuning in with your body cause your mind says one thing but I guarantee you that your body will say "whatever", LOL.
