Is this my mid life crisis?

I've never been a big fan of tattoos. Never seen anything I felt strongly enough about to want permanent of me. Now I'm mid 40's (okay north of mid 40's) and I'm pretty sure I'll have at least one within a month, maybe more.

What I'm considering, in order of preference:
  • The Yin/Yang symbol on one delt(which I have liked since high school)
  • Biohazard Symbol on the other
  • Superman S on my chest cuz I'm Steve, bitches.
  • maybe the sun or something in that hole of your traps when you're doing a rear double bicep....not that I will ever do one again.
  • something bicycling related like a crankset (google, hoes)
  • I'd even get a Maple Leaf if QT would give me some bootay.

oh, and pheer my Razr Maxx 4G phone!

Haha not sure bro. I have always liked tatoos but never felt strongly enough about it to permanently mark my skin. If you keep it where you can cover it with a shirt if you like I think thats smart and will be less regrettable if you ever do regret it.

in lieu of the tatt, just go get you a red corvette

I've been thinking of the same thing. However, as said previously, I don't feel strongly about anything enough to mark my skin.

If you've made it to mid-40's, you're probably better off not doing the ink.

It may scream "mid life crisis" and you might regret it unusually soon.

It have some kinda real meaning to you not just something random IMO

I have a great idea for one but I am holding off cause I want to see if I have kids or not. If I am hit my 40's no kids I will be going more ink all the way.

for sure his dreams would come true then!!

plank, can you hook a brotha up?

dt the shit is addictive, once you start you won't want to stop.
i went from zero tats a month ago to both arms sleeved and more in the works.
once you crack that initial fear it's all over.
few things:
-anything superman related is hella gay, bon jovi has a superman tat on his arm so gaye it hurts to look at
-darker skin bros like yourself can't use color, and imo their tats don't look that good kinda blobby.
-barb wire, chinese lettering, tribal shit is hotttt

Bino, post a pic of your tats.

sorry to hijack DT.
and i understand not everyone digs this look but i'm smitten with it, been getting mad compliments on them

more tats in the works next fall

Bino I think yours are cool concept and I don't think I have ever seen it before. At the end of the day when you get ink you got make sure it's something you can live with cause getting them removed is about 10x more pain then getting one.

I'm with bino on the Superman "S". It's so cocky it'll make you look like a tool.

I wouldn't go for the bicycle theme either. Plus, I just found out that side calf tattoos aren't cool; even if it's an eagle in the sunset.

I just bought the E350 convertible today BITCHES!!!

I don't need no stinking tats. Though Bino's looks cool.

i will be 48 years old on october 15th...for my 50th birthday, i am buying myself this car...

that said? your mid-life crisis is gonna be a hell of a lot cheaper than mine :lmao:

I turn 45 in late October. That's about five months after the twins are born. My wife and I worked out a timeline:

1) June + 1/2 of July = 6 weeks to just get back into general condition (recovery, really). Plus we've got to get the twins settled in.

2) 1/2 of July and August + 1/2 of September (eight weeks) = she gets back into shape (it won't be hard for her, she'll be 27 and knows what to do in the gym).

3) 1/2 of September and virtually all of October = six weeks to recover from her plastic surgery. She's already got a plan.

So know what my mid-life crisis is going to be? On my 45th birthday we're gonna get super-weird in the bedroom and stay that way till I'm dead. Don't get me wrong, it's great now, but we're making lists of the really out there stuff we're going to try.

She's 27 you don't need a mid life crisis... jeuss...

Do the math tho. I'll be 45 in late October.

That gives me a solid 20 years to get super-weird. Nobody is gonna get super-freaky with a 66+ year old, regardless of how much HGH and test I'm running.

I'm ok with that. It should be a fun run. Twenty years is a long time!

fixed :FRlol:

oh and, 20 years is only a long time if you're in prison...otherwise it goes by in the blink of an eye...june 27th, the wife and i will celebrate our 20th year wedding anniversary...seems like just yesterday.

and give me a hour to draw a crowd

they're better now, bro

This month, Consumer Reports named two American-made cars, the Ford Mustang and the Chevy Avalanche pickup truck, to its list of the 10 best cars in the world.

American Cars Turning Corner on Quality - ABC News

i have my doubts as to whether there is a "God" but, if there is one, i may have...ummmmmm...begged him to kill me if i ever owned another ford so...yeah...you're not gonna catch me driving around in a mustang...and...if i happen to pull up in front of your house driving my brand new mustang and i ask you if you wanna go for a ride?? DON'T GET IN!!!!!!!
