what year is the car? if i had to guess, i'd say yes. . .probably not irreparable, just too expensive compared to value. . .
 
fix that mirror and I say you're good.
 
It works.

I would say it's totaled. Most likely the engine started pushing down and under the car. At that point the car is prety much a goner. Whole front end is bashed up.
 
hit at both ends i gonna take a guess since your pics don't show and I can't see it since its night there that uh, maybe buy a new car.
 
all that matters is:
will the cost of the repairs exceed the value of the vehicle

It's up to the insurance Co. to decide that..............
 
like everyone else said.....it's fixable, but not worth it. I did pretty much the same thing to my 01 civic in 03, and it cost about 8 grand to fix....so it's not worth it
 
My wife hit a deer with her 2001 Subaru Legacy Outback
needed a
new hood
radiator
bumper
and front right headlight
ALOT of 5 misc. part too

paint and bodywork (paint/paint blending)
damage costs $5300
she was carrying a 1000 dollar deductuble ( I got owned)
They paid



That car is TOTALED, toast, no questions about it
If anyone even wants to wager

My brother drove sideways for a year. Paid $1200 for a car and got hit in the first week. Cop said it was his fault. He just had liabilty insurance so he drove around in a car that got T-boned. LOL. From behind you could see 4 tires. There was no way to walk around and get them to line up in your field of vision. LOL.

he rotated them. LOL. To evenly destory them until the car went off to the junk yard. His next car which was a mint monte carlo with something like 90K on it, got hit while he was at a stop light. That car was mint for how old it was and it was a shame it got clipped. Banged out the dents and got a hood from a yard. Had one of those two paint jobs after that. LOL. Brother pocketed the insurance money.
 
totalled, i can tell from the pic the front frame horn is bend to shit. probably 8-10k worth of work needs to be done.
 
What the fuck, again? You and Lummy are going to be blacklisted by every insurance company in Maryland.

And for evaluating the damage, in addition to all the bodywork, peeps don't forget that the airbags deployed too. It's toast.
 
I saw a commercial on tv that says you can wipe that off with one application of their amazing scratch and dent remover!!! Billy Mayes is the MAN!!

Damn Smurfy I hope you weren't hurt. I just totalled my car a couple of weeks ago and there was considerably less damage done to mine. Maybe you and I should go car shopping together. :rose:

LMAO, I bet you're the only person here who knows what kind of car I drove. It collapsed under the weight of a subaru outback. It was a champ though didn't even shut off after the impact I had to turn the engine off. Thing will still start and run but with the radiator pushed into the engine block it can't cool itself anymore.

Deebs, come on. You KNOW what happened. Its the same thing that happened to about 6 other cars over the last 3 months. Pretty sure you dont need me to spell it out. As for exact details - I wasnt there and I didnt ask. At this point, its moot.

totalled, plain and simple.. airbags going off cause about a grand of repair.. in my state a car only has to have 70% of it's value to repair before it is totalled. don't know if that's universal or just state to state
