Any mac is a good mac! LOL. It depends on what its going to be used for really. I use my laptop for the internet, ipod, ect. So i have zero need for a $1700 macbook. So i have a dell. Its like driving a ferrari to work everyday. If you can afford it, then go for it.

okay this is what I brought my brother. 2 gig upgrade cost $1200 on apple.com, screw that. I told him to find much cheaper options in his area.

i also told him to throw out the kb/mnouse that comes wtih it - and get a lx8 logitech badass laser mouse, and a good usb wireless keybaord. He's mainly using it for Adobe CS4 and Video Production/FX.
