So you started HRT with no bloodwork? If your just trying to get gear, your wasting your money. If you need HRT thats another subject. Now that you have basically self medicated, you have no idea if you really need HRT! PM me your email and I can send ya some reading material on HRT, what labs you should monitor etc. You can bring it to your doc.
As far as the 200mg/wk. Thats not hrt thats a weak cycle at best. HRT is usually 80-100mg/wk on average. 200mg/wk is a waste if your just looking to get some muscle. 300-500 is more realistic, but not for life long hrt.
Thanks for taking time to respond. The HRT clinic did send a portamedic to take my blood. I am assuming that everything was good to go, but I don't know numbers or what they would even mean except for PSA. I am learning a LOT as I go along.
I told my regular doc about the HRT program I was on and he thought it was resonable to try, so he agreed to do the follow up blood work.
One quick note: I like this Doc, but he did not know what HCG was for I had to tell him what it was for.
OK, back to the subject; I am assuming the HRT clinic will give my blood numbers to use as my baseline. I'll see if I can get them.
I guess right now I am comfortable being at 200mg/week for 1 cycle. I want to see how my body responds. Or am I playing to safe? Prostatecancer runs in the family. Both my grandfather and my dad have had prostate cancer. My dad had the surgery and it was scary.
Here is what the HRT clinic recommened for a cycle:
1-10 week 200 mg test cyp/week
starting at week 3 10mg nolvadex 1 tab every other day
2 weeks after 10 week cycle 1000iu/day for 10 days
You guys are the experts at gear. Does this seem right?
The more I learn, the more I see how f**ked docs are and HRT clinics want to make a buck, wish I would have ran across this website before I paid the clinic. I could have my own do-it-yourself project.
Before my 40th birthday (May 06), I want to go from 19% bf to 13% and gain 3% muscle mass. I'm 6'3" 215 lbs.
Oh, also when should blood work be done?
Thanks again,
