So is it? i wanted to work every muscle twice a week with one heavy and one light day. Same reps/ sets just different weights.

Mon-chest,delts,tris(heavy)
tues,back,biceps(heavy)
wed-rest
thurs-rpt mon(light)
fri-rpt tues(light)
sat-rest
sun-legs(heavy)

yeah for the parts after the wed rest, i got to shove legs in there somewhere

Why not follow a one one one off routine? I guarantee that you will have more enthusiasm, plus you will be able to recover much faster.

but will i still be able to work each muscle twice a week?

I think this would be a better split:

Mon-chest,back(heavy)
tues,shoulders,triceps,biceps(heavy)
wed-rest
thurs-rpt mon(light)
fri-rpt tues(light)
sat-rest
sun-legs(heavy)

Use antagonistic methods for training your chest and back (mon/thur.)

Working tri's and bi's together will give you a better "lift" when you do shoulders (tues, fri).

i agree withe mike...i hate doing tris/shoulders with chest...by the time i get to tris im done. Same with back and bis

SATCHBOOGIE'S SPLIT:

day 1: deadlifts, triceps
day 2: shoulders
day 3: off
day 4: chest, biceps
day 5: quads
day 6: off

Hey Yarg!
I often work upper chest (incline presses) and shoulders on the same day, Id add triceps but that'd be a real long workout, I prefer to do arms together. Thats sounds like a goo plan. I used to work everything twice a week, but didnt cycle heavy and light days much. Probabally smarter to train like that. Good luck with the training!
