Is it illegal to refer someone to a source?

This question is hypothetical- of course.... But is it explicitly illegal to refer someone to a source. Could the police come up with some type of "trafficing" charge, even if I was not involved in any of the transactions between the source and the person referred.

rofl, no one wants to know the answer to this question.

It makes you part of the conspiracy. Ask anyone in the drug business how true this is. Being part of the chain in a drug deal most definitely is an illegal act. The feds got a name for it, it's called the RICO act. Look it up.

RICO= Racketeer Influended Corrupt Organizations, you're NOT going to be prosecuted under a RICO statute for telling someone about a source, I assure you. It will take more of an active involvement than that.

I could say, rob a bank to support your cycles, that does not make me a coconspirator really, if you go ahead and do that. Someone's free will is usally a complete intervention in liability of any kind.

I don't know try it and then go to your DA and tell him or her what you did and see if they prosecute you. If they don't, then good, if they do, you will still have your answer. :D

Bad analogy. Big difference to suggest a crimminal act then to direct someone to a specific source of illegal drugs. Although it's usually, if ever, used in the case of steroids, I know of a few crack runners that are locked up for this very reason. Just for telling people where to go. I know what I'm talking about.
