is 1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil enough

Although none of my business, this is fucking stupid. Do a little research and you'll easily find scientific data to prove that consuming reasonable amts of flax oil is good for you, and that consuming reasonable amts of milled flax seeds has more health benifits than just the consuming the oil. I eat the milled seeds with oatmeal in the am, and with my nightly protien shake. Regular as hell, never any bowel troubles.

I participate in this board to gain and give knowledge and information. JA is an extremely respected and valuble member of this board. Show some fucking respect. Say your opinion and move on, cut back on the androgens.

How old are you? Look, there is definitely some merit to what I was saying. I backed up my statements with well informed facts and medical opinions from Doctors, which is what you asked for. Now you have to act like child about it? Can't you just address my position on this or is your finite limited brain incapable discussing something intelligently?

You're right. I shouldn't have subjected the board to my animosity. In my defense, however, I would like to say that I tried to put an end to it by asking JA if we could just agree to disagree, but he chose to attack.

At that point, I started getting hilarious PM's from guys on my buddy lists, we started placing bets, I started having way too much fun, and things got out of hand.

I apologize if I offended you or anyone else on the board, including JA.

I'm now done with this thread. JA, if you have something else to say to me, please send me a PM.

No problem Bro. The only thing that got me going is when you discredited my trainer and dismissed my statements as being utterly preposterous. Other than that I think it's been a worthwhile discussion and hopefully people benefitted from information.
 
I didn't read a lot of the comments here, but personally I take two tablespoons of each flax and fish a day. Actually, I use a soup spoon. If you look at the larger of the two spoons you use for eating, and compare to the tablespoon used for measuring, the soup spoon is usually smaller (at least mine are), so I think I'm actually getting close to 1.5 tablespoons of each. And I keep my flax in the fridge.
 
I buy flax oil in a bottle and keep it in the fridge...have for a couple years with no problems. The glass is dark brown and a bottle only lasts 3-4 weeks at most.

What I'm curious to know is just how much flax seed you'd need to grind ans condume each day to get the same amount of oil as 1oz of the liquid from the bottle. Seems you'd need a good cup or two of raw seed...no?

I use one protein powder scoop and grind it in a coffee grinder. 10-15 minutes later I have a nice bowel movement.
