is 1 tablespoon of BAC flaxseed oil a day enough?

1 tablespoon = 6200mg omega 3, 1810mg omega 6, 2040mg omega 9, and 2660mg high-lignan flaxseed particulate per tablespoon.

will there be any real benefits from taking 2-3 tablespoons a day over 1 tablespoon a day or will they be minimal?

I usually alternate between olive oil and flax every other day. 3 tbsp a day and I just dump that in my protein shake and shotgun it. After several months of doing this I dropped my total chol. by 40 pts... Nuts huh

Flax oil goes bad after you open it. The best way is to buy in seed form and grind it up in a coffee grinder and have it with your oatmeal in the morning.

What about fish oils?

I have a tablespoon every morning....

and JA, what if you refrigerate the Flaxseed oil? Does it last alittle longer that way?

I use a 2 tables spoons of udo's choice/day! I use more when bulking but when cutting i want as much whole food as possible!

Same difference. It's meant to be refrigerated but once it's opened and used once it goes bad. Flax oil doesn't have a very long shelf life. Like I said, it's best and even cheaper ot buy it in seed form and grind it up. I put it in my oatmeal with a little brown sugar. It tastes good that way.

i dont know, 2 tablespoons = 1 ounce. a 16 oz bottle will only last 16 days if you take 2 tablespoons a day so i dont know if it will matter much. What about storing it in the freezer, i would assume it doesn't turn solid at freezer temps of 32 F since its a lipid.

What does that have to do with freezing? If you put flax oil in the freezer it will freeze then you'd have to defrost it eveytime you use it. Sounds like a pain in the ass to me. Why not just follow my suggestion and buy it in seed form?
