Is this good for gym use? Seems cheap. I'm used to ipods costing $150+ and stuff.

Sounds like a good deal if youre going to pocket it while you lift. Might be too big to strap on your arm though.

I just put it in my pocket. I just hope it's not some 9 y/o version that will crap out after 1 month of usage. I hate having to drag out my car ipod every morning. I want one just for gym usage.

Actually it wouldn't be a good gym iPod. It's going to be huge! Not to mention it may have a faulty or old battery that you'll be constantly charging.

Why not get the little shuffle of whatever it is, the one that is under $100. Perfect size for the gym or jogging!

Because I want to be able to see what song is playing easily so i can skip it, etc.

You working out or watching your iPod? And if you don't know what song is playing without looking at the screen it shouldn't be on your iPod to start with.

I got thousands of songs - i can just sift thruogh them like crazy just by looking at the title. As opposed to waiting 5 seconds to figure what it is. I like putting it on shuffle. Dont' cramp my style g.
