Europe sales are slowing because they are waiting for 3G. 3rd world sales of unlocked phones are screwing up the numbers as well. Every taxi driver and stripper in from Africa to Asia is dying to get their hands on an iPhone.
I could post up more articles, but the end question always comes down to:
Market Penetration.
This is easy to calculate. Do it on your own. I can easily count all those who have ipods around me. I know maybe 1 iphone owner for like every 50 cell phone owners around me. I'm sure it's similar around you too (Unless you live in sunnyvale, ca).
Plus Iphone is a loss for Apple btw. The real revenue is in the high cell phone prices. So if people want those high bills - hey, go ahead.
