Injection question

New member
I recently started on a new compounded form of "T" after being on cypionate.

Now taking compounded 200mg enanthate and 50mg propionate.

After my first injection of this(have always used the thigh as opposed to glutes or delt) I experienced a lot of pain and swelling.

2 days later it is still very tender and though most of the swelling has disappeared, there is still a significant lump around the injection site. As I have never experienced this previously, should I be concerned or is it a fairly normal occurrence?

how many cc's exactly did you inject? did you use sterile equipment and procedures? is the lump filled with fluid? is it red? painful to the touch?

Describe the problem more so that we can determine whether or not it is a major issue. Is anything coming out of the swelling and does it seem to go down after a few days? Thanks

Re: Injection ?

Thanks for all of your replies. I injected 1cc, with sterile equipment. The swelling did go down significantly after a couple of days--a much larger area around the injection site was initially very swollen--now it is just a lump at the injection site itself. The swelling seemed to decrease after I iced the area for awhile.

It is still painful, but there is no discharge and does not feel like there is fluid in there, it is pretty solid, but still very tender to the touch. It doesn't show much bruising.

I know that I passed through a vein or blood vessel because it did drip blood after I removed the needle, but I did not inject into a vein and I have had the same amount of bleeding after other injections but never had this much pain or any swelling before.
