Inclines with bands...

Inclines with bands...are EXCITING...to say the lest.

We did overheads then Cheese decided that we should use 2 sets of double mini bands on inclines...WOW!!!

They were FAST too. It wasn't hard off the chest...but got hard QUICK. The last 3" was hard for sure.

I got a freaky chest pump as well...and my upper chest was/is fried...just something for the bodybuilders to think about. I still think that bands can be VERY useful for bodybuilders...

I got to get some of those for X-mas.....Im thinking pushups with bands would make for a good poly workout.

How much weight does that feel like, with the bands on there?

I honestly don't know. I know that I am now stronger on inclines than I was a month ago...and I haven't gone heavy in a month or more on them.

In theory...when they are doubled they add around 60 pounds each. With 2 bands...that is 240 pounds at the top.

With 135 on the bar...it felt about like 185 or so with no bands (EDITED TO ADD...'at the bottom it felt like 185).
Add 240 to the 135 and you have 375 at the top.

My heaviest set was 185 x 4...but I wouldn't say that it was like doing 425...lol. The most I've ever done with no bands is 365 but that was probably 2-3 months ago. I think I'm closer to 405 now as it is.

The bands force you to move QUICKLY. It actually tends to help me a lot when I put the bands on there...makes me use my reversal speed. The last 3-4" was no joke though...I probably spent twice the time on the last 6" than I did through the entire rest of the reps.

Just wanted to add that the 185 x 4 plus the two mini bands per side...was much harder than the 315 x 5 I did a few months ago...MUCH.
