Dang Hidngod~ Thanks for mentioning me, you know that you are one of the few non asshats on this board...I can hear where you are coming from. However if you like this site, and get good info from it dont let the assholes push u away..Just go on a mini vaca away from the site..i did that and I pop in from time to time. It is a good place to come to not only for the friendships that I have gained along the way but also for the chatting, and great info I have found..
Dont give them the satisfaction of another good person leaving this site..

i agree. not many people want to be in a place that everytime they post something people gang up and rip the person apart. i went away for a while because of that. people love to gang up on others to make themselves feel better about themselves but could care less that they hurt the other person in the meantime. its funny, some people on here jump on the bandwagon so they wont get flamed on and also laugh when other people say a certain person is a "friend" on here. jumping on the bandwagon with the same people means your afraid to lose them as a "friend" also. your just trying to make certain people happy your on their side. like high school, they arent really your friends in the first place.

I cant understand this either. The most ironic part though is when somebody attacks you out of NOWHERE and then when you fight back suddenly you are the bad guy?

There are many times where for all the good people that e-habit the board I have no desire to deal with all the minority of vocal asstards and that is just a shame.

truly they get a kick out of getting a rise out of people. my wife used to post here as prettykitty. everytime she posted people attacked her or ignored her. then there was an abortion thread and her being adopted is completely against it and stood up for her belief. well all of a sudden shes the devil and that was it. i felt bad because it took me a while to get her to post on here. i told her how good it was and how much fun it was. i guess most of the time i just look past the BS but it really got to her.

I keep telling my Old Grump that this place wasn't always like this. ALL of the chatboard twats would last 2 seconds if they even tried pulling a fraction of their shit back in the day. But we have discussed this topic ad nuaseum and no amount of reminiscing or bitching is going to make the chatboard twats:

1. get a clue.

2. go away.

So all we can hope is that they either get their sorry asses banned (funny, I have ZERO power over this but I have had more bannings attributed to me than pennies in m'bank account) or hope that they get bored and find someplace with even more mayhem and they stay THERE.

The amount of shit that my Old Grump got seeing as how I invented him (Oh yea, you can thank one of elite's finest elite mods for beginning THAT bullshit) and he was an alter and there is NO WAY that any man would *really* marry me :rolleyes: , then the emails *warning him about the REAL me*... then all the bombings and out and out rude nasty disrespectfull and unwarranted hate-filled comments....

We've met some really good people though so I suppose it is just the law of numbers. The more traffic to the board, the higher the probability that you will get MORE assholes who think they can say whatever they feel like at any given moment and then whine the loudest like the little bitchboys that they are when they are banned even after given explicit directions by admin mourned only by their fellow bitchboys.....

Needto with all due respect, I don't think that this is a fair statement. I've e-known the thread's originator for quite a while and NEVER has he made a pass at me. Matter of fact, he has always been BEYOND respectfull, and that was long before I met my Old Grump.

From my e-experience with him (very limited), he seems to be a very good man and he continues to prove so in another forum. No need for anyone to disparage him, people move on just like in real life.
