7 year old boy lived with his dad and stepmom in Oregon. Stepmom took him to school early because there was a science fair. people saw them there, and she took a picture of him in front of his exhibit. When class was going to start, she watched him walk down the hall towards his class and she left.
At home, she uploaded his pic to facebook, then did her normal routine and went to pick him up from the bus at 3. When he didn't get off the bus, she called the school, who said he was absent that day. She said he wasn't absent, but he wasn't in class, nobody saw him in school, and nobody saw him leave.

That was 10 days ago and he's still missing.

they've searched the school a few times I think. What's strange to me is that NOBODY saw him leave? Even if his stepmom did it, she claims she left the school without him- she'd have to be awfully sure that nobody saw her leave with him to say that, since it would only take one person to say they saw them walking out to her car. Plus, posting his picture to facebook an hour later and being able to act completely normal when she went to get him from the bus all look like she's telling the truth about leaving him at school.

if it was his real mom, he wouldn't make a scene or struggle, and presumably just walk out with her. then she drives 10 states away.

kid didn't live with his real mom, and I would think that if she was in the hall of his school, his stepmom would have seen her, or kids would have noticed the boy saying "MOM!"
Plus, NOBODY saw them leave? i mean, it's possible to leave a school and not have anyone notice, but the mom or stepmom would be taking a huge chance to deny having gone there if they had actually taken him in front of all the kids.

He could have gone to the bathroom I guess... and a janitor took him. unless there's a door to the parking lot that someone could feel positive about getting to their car without being seen.

well they WERE actually at the school that morning. The picture proved it, but other people saw them there.
Even if she did do it, she managed to leave the school with him with total confidence that nobody saw them leave together.
also, the police don't seem to suspect her.
