josh2two said:"My training is set", doesn't mean I do the same thing. I isolate different muscles every time I lift. Sometimes I go with explosive lifting, sometimes high weight low reps, sometimes low weight high reps. I change it up all the time so my muscle don't get use to the same thing every week. I like to change it up alot. If your muscle are a little sore the next day that means you need to change up your routine.
This is almost a sure way to fail. You get bigger by progressive load, not by a measure of "soreness." Doing something different all the time only makes it so that you can't measure your progress very well.
Your muscles don't get used to a certain routine, they get used to a certain WEIGHT. That's why you increase the weight/reps each session to BUILD MUSCLE.
