This is alot of usually information for me, thanks guys.
People keep posting about training and workouts. Although these are helpful, Training is not my problem. I have been lifting for just about 4 solid years. I have read lots of articles on lifting and I'm set with my training methods.

I think my sole problem is not eating enough. I am going to try to up my intake and continue my training.

Big bodies are built with forks! Eat, Eat, and Eat some more. Quality food and protein about every 3 hours or so. Eat big to get big.

If I were to take TEST. Could I take it all by itself for good mass gains? Do you have to do PCT with TEST? What are the sides of TEST by itself?

There is more than enough information on this site to answer your questions. Do NOT use any AAS until you know enough to answer these simple questions for yourself. Let alone understand the risks and benefits.

I could find an article with somebody just taking TEST by itself so could somebody please answer these questions for me.

Yes you can do a Test only cycle. Many first timers do. 200-400 mgs /week. Yes proper PCT is necessary if you want to keep your gains and return to normal Test production.

I guess my post was a waste of time.

Yes, start injecting testosterone right away even though you still look like a normal person after 4 years of training. You said you're set with your training methods? Well how much do you bench, squat, and deadlift?

stop thinking about the steroids already. you're 5'10" 160lbs. if you've been training for as long as you have and still weigh 160lbs, you don't know what you're doing with your diet. if you do a cycle you might gain a few pounds, but wave goodbye to your gains after your cycle is over since you don't know how to eat to gain naturally, let alone maintain gains that are achieved from steroids.

you've been training for 5 years and haven't put on any weight. i'm the same height as you - 5'10" and have gone from 140lbs to 200lbs(same bodyfat level) in 4 years without drugs - just consistent diet and training. plus i'm older than you and most likely don't have the test levels you do.

go to the diet board. the anabolic board is not where you need to be. 20lbs over 6 months should be EASY just by eating more of the right food.

1) You are NEVER "set" in your training program. Your training program should ALWAYS be evolving and changing. Lifting for 4 years is a small drop of water in the huge ocean..... The thinking that your program is unchangable is the first reason you are not ready for AAS.

2) Anavar, while milder and often given to children, does NOT mean it has no side effects. ALL AAS has the potential for side effects. Everyone is different, so you never know how YOU PERSONALLY are going to react to a substance until you try it.

3) Asking basic Qs such as if you can do Test alone and if you need PCT shows that you have done limited or no research. Spend a few weeks/months reading. Post Qs, then think about a cycle then.

"My training is set", doesn't mean I do the same thing. I isolate different muscles every time I lift. Sometimes I go with explosive lifting, sometimes high weight low reps, sometimes low weight high reps. I change it up all the time so my muscle don't get use to the same thing every week. I like to change it up alot. If your muscle are a little sore the next day that means you need to change up your routine.

I never told anyone that I was actually going to take some stuff. I just wanted to see what everyone had to say on the subject.

That is what I'm doing in this post is asking questions and learning.

I've made up my mind that a high calorie and high protein and eat eat eat is the way for me, right now. no gear

Josh2two,

I know you're taking a lot of heat for mentioning AAS, but that is because people are looking out for your best interests.

From what I've read, you seem very dedicated and motivated to educate yourself on various methods of increasing strength/size.

Good luck, and keep searching on the boards for answers to your gear and diet questions. There are some very knowledgable individuals on here, but you have to have the patience to filter through many idiotic posts!
