IGF-1 and GH and Insulin post workout

To my understanding GH increases IGF-1 output and then insulin can keep IGF-1 floating around longer. But if GH and insulin oppose each other what would be the optimum way to get the best of both worlds?? I mean obviously exogenous insulin or GH, but a way that doesn cost a couple of G's hehe. I wondering if not using the wicked high GI carbs directly post workout would help increase IGF-1 lvls and if properly timed then the carbs and insulin spike would be more benficial.?? Any comments or ideas? Possible use of R-ALA etc....to still replenish gycogen....while keeping GH higher (yes i know the small amount wont do shit in the short run) but for everyone lifting clean for most of the year it could make a difference long run.

well

I believe it was Dan Duchane who said he believes people should wait 30 mins post workout before consuming carbs... so the insulin spike doesn't effect the peak of the GH spike... could give that a try and see how it works out.
