As you increase your wealth, you will encounter new opportunities. You'll meet other wealthy people who are connected to opportunties that you never see coming before that. people you didn't know existed will want to take your phone calls and create business ventures.
Investment banker types can help you get into deals you didn't know existed. Through connections, you could end up supplying a minor portion of a startup company's financing (sometimes VC finds allow certain individuals to get a small equity position...hard to explain)
The people you meet in that fashion are unlimited. It presents unlimited opportunities. I could never see myself doing what Anal does (no flame, bro...for real).
By integrating yuorself into these places, you can get around people who really have influence in different cirlces, and get yourself into different industries.
