Okay laugh if you want but I ordered this movie the other night and it was so damn cute.....the best part ever was the end of it when the squirel died and had all the nuts he could of ever wanted and one of the other animals brought him back to life and said "I saved you my lil buddy"
I laughed my ass off...so cute.

anyone else see this???? fess up

I liked the first one better...

I'm hanging out for Shrek 3 though, that should be funny. I love my Pixar/CG movies.

b0und (Mr Incredible, in my dreams)

I didn't see the first one...... damnit.
Now I might have to go buy it. lol
Here I am a 36 yr old woman going to buy Ice Age and my son won't even watch it. (thinks he is all grown up at 14 ya know)
Feisty, if you have the 1st one....let me borrow it.

I may very well have it. I will have to check. If I do, I'll bring it to you

I bring it back to you as soon as I watch it in the shape you give it to me. :)
I hope you do....I hate buying movies...I NEVER watch them twice.

I have both of them for my kids. Gawd, I hate those movies. It's not so bad if you watch it once or twice; but my youngest keeps it going for a few times each weekend.

ARGH!

I've seen it probably 345 times already... my son discovered it not so long ago and he's been giving that DVD the workout from hell

LOL @ pintoca.

Same here. We've seen every kids flick about 50 times at least it feels that way.

wit us is not that bad, he has "stages"... he might go 1-2 weeks where he only wants to watch Ice Age... then he'll completely forget about it and move to something else, say "Finding Nemo" (I know the script of that one already".... then one day, he'll simply say "Bob the Builder" and off it goes...

I think he has 5 or 6 in the rotation and don't really care to add more to it... you try to play something new, after 5 minutes he stands up and go do something else or simply says "PAPA!!!! FISH!!!!" (Nemo)

I own both.
LOL

I own them both, I like meltdown better, but the first one was good too.My kids love watching meltdown repeatedly.

I have them both, watch them, am 31 years old, and I don't even have kids!

:worried:

Shrek is the best though.

I rented it and watched it by myself on a Saturday night. It was awesome. The squirrel part at the end made me almost fall off my bed. I think aladdin is my all-time favorite. Big fan of the Land Before Time as well.

I just gotten away from the cartoons....guess I need to take another look at the new ones. I really had enjoy this one...and like I said the end of it was the best part of all.

Shrek is the best though.

agreed, the humor in shrek is very adult oriented though

I'm counting the days down til " Ratatouille" comes out too.

I love having a child as an excuse to go to the movies or buy them on DVD. We have quite the collection in this houehold.

I did see the 1st Shrek and it was cute...looks like I should hit feisty up to see if she has those in her collection as well :)

I liked the ending to Meltdown but found it to be too long. I dozed off in the middle of it.
Shrek movies are the best for kids and adults..

My kids love Shrek, especially Donkey! Right now they are all about Thomas. Every time my daughter hears a train I have to open the window so she can shout "I hear you Thomas!!!!". I know my neighbors appreciate that. They think it's funny too.

I love all the Pixar movies and yes, I began collecting the disney flicks long before I had kids. My kids' favorites were Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Mary Poppins, the original Willy Wonka, Wizard of Oz... You older kids oughtta check those out if you haven't already.

I remember how much in love I was with "Truly Scrumptious" - I wanted to be pretty like her in the worst way. LOL

Great, great movies - no sex, no drugs, no violence and amazing still entertaining for children AND adults.

OMG!! CARS!! I think I've watched that one 100+ times already. I just bought Happy Feet for the kiddos. Oh and Flushed Away. I try to buy them when they come out and not hit up the movies too often with the kids. That shits expensive. We went watch the new Ninja Turtle movie when it came out. It sucked.
