Funny story about the exact moment my family knew it was time to leave Ohio:
This was a long time ago, right when 'My Blue Heaven' came out (for those that don't know, it was a comedy with Steve Martin re: stereotypical Italian mobster moving to the midwest, etc, etc). Anyway, we are all superpumped to see this thing, my entire family went (mom, pops, sis, me). The theater was 100% filled, just packed to the edges of the room. It gets to the point in the movie where the DA chick asks Steve Martin what he named his puppy. Steve Martin pauses, looks around and says, "Fongule".
All 4 of us ERUPTED into laughter. Took a few seconds for us to figure out that not ONE other person on the theater was laughing.
Goodbye Ohio
