i think its time to stop competing.

I'm too old and preoccupied with other stuff. It takes too long to recover and every time I turn around, I get another injury. Plus... i just have too much "life" stuff going on to train as consistantly as I need to in order to compete succesfully.

This sat. will be my last competition I believe. I think i'll wear a crown for the occasion.

50lbs difference with and without? wtf??? Does it come with a diesel engine?

Stilleto your raw bench has really improved. I remember you making a thread about hitting 175 without the shirt. I'm telling you, all I need is a little personal one-on-one coaching/spot/lift-off from Joel Toranzo and I'm hitting 350 no problem.

Actually, I have one that I want to sell. It was my first shirt and would be a good beginner shirt for you, but I'm sure my arms are much bigger than yours.

lol, no no.. i have bigger arms than most people. (one of my shirts was jill mills)
and the shirts don't do the work for you, despite what some people think.

honestly. if i thought id ever have the potential to be any good at benching, and if i even had someome to train me/with me, i might consider heading in that direction. but also, im fucking old. and fat.

I don't know how old you are, but i'm older. and the nice thing about powerlifting is- you can be as fat as you want.

i'll measure my arms later, I only have a carpenter's tape measure handy.

I think IMO that you should keep on going. If you are good at it and your body is good than why waste it all?

why cant u train for it?
all PL's do is eat whatever they can find and go in the gym..do a few 2-3 rep sets and rest 30 min in between then go drink beer and eat pizza

the best thing is i get HUGE red welts on my triceps when i'm done benching. It looks like i've been whipped on the back of my arms for days. :)
