Hmmm...Still, the little over the ear thing...I guess I;d have to see it on me.

Which only looks like a bluetooth device. Trust me, you won't be able to see it on you.

Also, one thing you may want to look into is visiting Vocational Rehab offices. They help hearing impaired individuals get new hearing aids (any kind) for free. This isn't the plastic klunky kind that run off a size "D" battery either. These are the newest models on the market. Any style you like. By any manufactor you wish.

VR also provides other services like free college sponsorships and such too. They will send you to school to be anything you wish and it costs you nothing. They even give you a gas card every week to assist with fuel costs.

Worth looking into. They are a division that is often overlooked and unheard of. They will do anything to help you because the more people they help the more budget they are given the next year.

the brand I got

http://www.ahearingaid.com/dws.htm
"Most retail hearing aid offices charge in upwards of $3000 each for Destiny, Rhapsody and Virtue hearing aids. Compare our low Starkey hearing aid prices. Our price includes services that are provided in your local area by one of our network providers."

How can our prices be so low? Because we buy and sell allot more Starkey hearing aids than your single retail office.
I paid 2259 a piece at a local center
and add 330 sales tax

4848
billed 808/month to my credit card(6mos)
my last payment is june and I'll be glad to be done paying for that
cramping my cash flow

sales tax basically cost me
but I have a local place to go and get a personal aquaintance with the guy
and free batteries

Bro, did you know that if you had your doctor to write you a Rx script for hearing aids, you wouldn't have had to pay the tax? No joke.

Same thing applies for hot tubs too.

They have them...cochlear implants. But you have to have a certain kind of deafness to respond to them. From what I understand you also have to be SUPER careful of static electricity. :worried:

That's what I've looked into for myself... many insurances don't cover them, and they can get quite costly.

Good luck actually finding a company to do it now.
