irl he speaks with a nerd voice, is university educated in marketing, but acts the way he does on purpose to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

As a matter of fact I listen to some rap and I'm none of those things. There goes your theory...

Personally I don't know him but I do like some of his music.
 
His old stuff is really good. His first album is a classic.

Did anyone ever think about drinking Ciroc before Sean Combs bought the company? Seems like everytime a person in rap/hip-hop puts something in a song it becomes a popular. I work in a club. When Nuvo first came out everyone hated it. It collected dust on the shelves. All of a sudden it became popular. Guys were drinking pink drinks for Christs sake! Why? Because it was put in a song. And rappers/hip hop artists promoted it. Baaaa...

1) learn the difference between rap and hip hop


2) listen to non mainstream rap and hip hop and you might learn something

I do like this because Mary Blidge can actaully sing a little bit

and that guy actually went to Jail and is talking about how his enemies are happy about it, but how he will have the last laugh

I respect the fact that you don't like that sort of music, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But, when you start to stereotype...that tells me that you are one track minded and unfortunately I don't have the patience for that. I'm not going to argue with you or try to change your mind, most likely is not gonna change anything...

I was referring to the posts where she was able to call you out for stereotyping and being narrow minded and having that "holier than thou" attitude. :)

Didn't Jesus hang out with sinners? The only ones he condemned (so to speak) were the pharisees (that would be the good, church going christians of today). At least Jesus wasn't a hypocrite (unlike his followers today).
 
Disliking hip hop has a lot to do with personalities, how they were raised, formed opinions by the people they associate with, there enviroment, and aren't that open to difference's. Some people write things off right away if they can't identify and aren't open. They will clash with people who like this and have hate for it. You don't try to convince them because their to strong opinionated.
