This is how I feel on tihs topic:

I was fucked over multiple times by both one girl, then another. One, I was engaged to....That's right, we were gonna get married.

Anyways, I did manage to learn something from these situations. I learned that I can still be nice but overly nice like i used to. It's human nature (moreso girls) to take advantage if they're over coddled.

With a girl, go "tit for tat." Buy a girl a gift. Dont' buy them a damn thing else until they return the favor. They forget your birthday, you do the same. They want to be treated like a queen, then they better damn well treat you like a king. There's no reason why you have to be a girl's man-servant. You pay for one date, she pays for the other. Simple as that. When something smells fishy...confront her promptly. Be upfront, firm, and honest and force the same out of her. If you don't put your foot down and demand equality, you're practically asking for trouble.

This is the whole philosophy in a nutshell. It may seem childish but see if this sounds familiar: A guy starts to date a girl, pays for the first date, then it doesnt get reciprocated, so he buys her roses, doesnt get reciprocated, so he takes her to a dinner and a movie, again he gets nothing in return (not talking about sex either). You can see where this leads, it leads to the guy constantly catering to the woman in hopes that something will be done in return and he becomes a doormat. Then the woman gets bored and moves on. 68GT350's method of tit for tat has never failed me.
