:mad:People who live outside their means and bitch about it,I have a cousin who supports universalhealthcare becauxse says he owes like 16K in debt because he cant afford healthcare for him, wife and baby twins (he could afford the $20k invitro for those twins though)

Well I read his status in facebook saying he's watching a game in his new HTC HD2 phone... a friend tells him he's watching it in his 42" TV(trying to own him) so he puts "when I get home I'll watch it in my much bigger and wider 56" HDTV with Verizon Fios HD" so WTFis up with this guy? I bet the TVwas on credit and he's paying at least $60 a month towards that TV ans $90-100 on the Fios, plus his house payment and the 16K debt, HOW can he NOT afford healthcare? because he cant get his shit together that's how...

There's something about guys and TVs though...my bf basically frogmarched me to Future Shop to get a flatscreen HDTV when we moved in together because I didn't even have a TV and his was in the process of dying.
I don't live beyond my means though- I scratch a living out, but my student loan is all paid off and I don't owe anything to anyone. Nothing.

its a sad and yet very common thing.... whats so irritating is the basics of the solution. you cant spend more than what you have plain and simple. Something our country should pay a little attention to! the worst is when its someone who owes you money who doesnt have the money to pay you back but has some nice new toys! Bastards!

This post is half of the US.
Common Sense becoming more elusive. Still, degrees I guess.

I guess I'm considered a weirdo cuz I dont have much yet, I'm waiting for my husband to get here have a stable job and then start doing things, I have a used almost paid off car, have a tracfone and cheap cable, barely use my A/C :lmao:

i hate the fact that i live well within my means and i work hard to be able to save some money every month so that i might be able to slow down a little bit some day (i'll probably never "retire") and then i end up paying for all these assholes when the goverment bails them out and then turns around and hands me the bill.

we live in a house we can afford, we drive cars that we can afford AND we drive them for a while after we pay them off. . .when they maybe aren't so pretty anymore. . .we buy our children nice clothes but they don't get a bunch of designer bullshit. . .we eat good (i.e., healthy) food, but we buy it in bulk so we can save a few shekels. . .we live our lives in a fiscally responsible manner so that we always have some funds available for a rainy day, and what do we get for our trouble?? a fucking bill for someone else's irresponsibility. sometimes i honestly wonder who is the stupid one? me or the spendthrift?? fucking ponderous, man :(

thats a good thing though... or at least the fact that you can do without. I have too many friends that still live with there parents but drive new fancy cars! its cool if they live at home and im sure they look cool in there ride but it will only take a short amount of time for the ladies to find out all there money goes to there ride and they still get told what to do by mommy! lol. I think people just go over they're heads for fancy materials!

no, you're smart with good decent values-its only in about the last 25 years that people think a credit card gives them free license to buy buy buy everything they want, not need.

Nan, I'm gonna be poh for the next 5 years, so yeah. I can relate. Univ's stipend is less than taco bell.

good point i always say what dumbfucks! and then people dont have to pay for their mistakes... so are they actually smart and im the dumbass for not doing the same!

Im just scared of a huge bill, I dont know how much will I pay FPL for AC on 24/7, right now it's like $37 a month which is dirt cheap :D

Funny cuz I turn it on sometimes, my mom NEVER turns it on, the guy from census 2010 dropped by and she had it off, mom said he was super fat and all sweaty and he asked her: "is your A/C broken?" she kinda giggled and said no and turned it on for teh fatty not to cook :lmao:

lol! Puds is a census worker now!

I can't imagine that. Any debt makes me stressed the fuck out. I could barely allow myself a 2.9% APR car loan when it was necessary and I've been doubling up the payments. Fuck debt. The only shit I'll buy on credit would be a house and a car.

I do use my credit card for everything though. Cash back credit cards are the shit :)

yup neuro is six figures, want to get my ass certified ASAP I dont have enough credit to get a sears card..... FML...

There are a ton of good schools in your area.
I know with your work ethic and capacity you will be solid.

It ain't easy to get hired to work for Cisco, that attention to detail and networking will get you the recs, and with your academic record... doctoral candidacy is right there, as long as you make the effort.

$37 a month?! wtf - you sittin with the lights off too? :)
I hate FPL with a passion. Way way overpriced per kwh compared to other utilities.

Few years back I had a 5,000 sq ft house and it was $1,000 a month in the summer to keep it 75!

Now downsized to south FL style house and got rid of unused space and it dropped it to about $300 a month keeping it at 73 - 74.

I would love $37 a month... but I cant get work done in my home-office if Im sitting there thinkin about how hot I am.

That is funny about puds the census taker.
