i hate college bureaucracies

fucking hate them. Fucking suck motherfucking too much. I wish they had more online degrees. Not having to take classes when you are tired, not having to take too few classes one semester & too many the next, being able to graduate on time. I could easily earn a B.S. degree in 2 years if i was allowed to go at my own pace. Fucking sucks.

i'm intelligent, i can do 18-24 credit hours in 3-4 months. But that isn't an option. it sucks. All the potential degrees i could earn i can't because i can only do 10 credits a semester, and i have to wait 9 months for them to even fucking start.

wow dude, they only let you take 10 per semester??? that's insane. we don't have any limit at our school, but we all take on average 16creds per semester (except for the psychotic engineers who take 18 per semester).

I could go on for hours about universities.

#1) I should have graduated by now. If a student starts school with 36 or more transfer/AP credits, he is not bound to the general education core curriculum. I entered with 34 AP credits so I got fucked. Explain why the requirement is 36 even though you really only need 30?

#2) Biological science requirement. I'm a Computer Science major. 'nuff said.

#3) 9 credits mandatory Summer Attendance. My scholarships do not pay for summer. 'nuff said.

#4) AP credits not accepted for neither English nor Statistics. I scored a 5/5 on both tests. boooooolshit.

#5) "Advanced" math courses. Have nothing to do with computers + have nothing to do with math. Taught by professors who would be starving if not for their university jobs. Wheeeeeeeeeeeee.

#6) Professor once threatened to file charges of academic misconduct against me because I handed in the wrong version of my code along with the correct version of the output. Lost my correct code in an HD format so I could not reproduce it. Fucking cocksucker did not seem to understand that I had an A in his class AND I've never scored lower than an A in a CS-related course and that even if I completely failed to do the assignment I would still have an A, so there was no point for me to cheat. Note: I got an A in that asshole's class after all that.

#7) Registration dates and times. Every student is given a date and time when he or she can register. Forget about making it fair for everyone and letting them go at the same time. I've been a student there for 2.5 years. GPA >= 3.5 at all times. Advanced student on multiple scholarships. Currently a senior. When do I register? 4 days after everybody else. Shit I need is now taken.

#8) Stellar Astrononmy requires a lab course... a lab course virtually identical to Solar System Astronomy lab... a lab course that requires attendance.... at 9:30 in the fucking morning.

#9) Ethics for Computer Science: 1 credit course. Mandatory attendance. Workload is higher than any 3 credit course I've ever taken with the exception of 2.

well, i'm working on an associates in nursing degree. They only let you take 10 credits of nursing relavant material each semester.

In order to kill time, i might do a bachelors of science in chemistry or biochemistry at the same time as the nursing thing.
