FINALLY think I found a joint to make mine here in CT. Back home, man, we own some restaurants. We just walk in. Take whatever table we want.

But I haven't been able to find a similar worthwhile place here for almost 3 years. Said fuck it tonite and went after work to grab a brandy manhattan at a local italian restaurant with a small bar.

Ended up staying for several drinks (GREAT hosue sauvignon). Opened the super dope hostess with a little riddle. Had her running around with a napkin and pencil trying to figure out the answer. THat spread to the owner/manager and rest of the crew - none of em could figure it out. FInally explained it to them and then they all huddled and thought of a riddle for me.

Had a good time. First night for the bartender, so got to know her (some mad annoying white Boston broad, but cool nonetheless) a bit. Goin back tomorrow nite. This is fucking fantastic

Pdaddy - didn't eat. but I did take Bran there a little while ago and we got some pretty good gnocchi bolognese
string - depends. it's not a suave joint, more like a local family owned place. 1 manhattan, 1 crown & 7, 2 glasses of wine came to about $45. not bad
