I can't get any of my shoes on. *Pic*

I had to just SHOVE them into a pair to go to the doctor, and it HURT.

Look at my feet, ankles and lower legs. :worried:

Yeah, they look terrible. I can't reach them to do an at home pedicure, but I have one scheduled for next week.

and the enormous bump as of now:

I couldn't reach my toes towards the end either (what preggie can?) and I asked my ex to cut my toenails for me. He said, "EW gross." From that day on I swore that once I could afford pedicures I would never EVER cut my own.

Just one of the reasons why he is an *ex*.

Interestingly enough, as gross as I can be (it aint easy being me LOL) My Old Grump NEVER makes me feel badly.

First one was a lesson. Last one is a gift. :)
 
I know!!! Even the doctor looked shocked and poked at them. LOL.

NEAT BUMP!!!! :) Yours is waaaaaaaaaaay prettier than mine were... My skin literally ripped to the point where you could see a hand or foot go by in a split second. Was neat to see that quick amazing little show but simultaneously icky to see skin stretched THAT far. :worried:

That feeling is very weird when your skin is stretched tight and they move. For me, it is almost like he is holding something sharp and raking it across the inside.

Today on the ultrasound, he was sucking on his fingers. sooooo cute!

I remember when mine were babies and I would check on them while they were napping and they would have little baby dreams and would smile and make a sucking motion even though their mouths were empty. And my God... did they smell SWEET.

I know! I've been around lots of babies and they are sooooo cute when they are sleeping. I love when they suck on pacies too. It is so adorable.

in a little bit, it will be all over with and you'll get back to your old self. Both times I hardly waited for the babies to get out just for that reason, but then, I missed feeling them move inside....cuz we were one and then, they get out, grow up and leave :(

Holy depressing post, batman! LOL. Yeah, someone told me that I would miss my bump once the baby was born, and that idea sort of shocked me, but I guess it could happen.

I just can't wait to sleep on my belly! I have always been a belly sleeper, and this has been hard to sleep on my back or my left side. I'm not able to sleep on my right side or I wake with really bad pains in my abdomen for some reason.

I was the same way. Both times. Its sooooo good when you first lay down on your belly again, right at the hospital. How much longer HR?

my feet looked just like that.

i would wear shoes all day at work, then come home and take them off and have semi- slim feet and a huge BULGE at the top of where my shoes were. after about 15 minutes, all the fluid in my ankles would move down to my feet and toes and I couldn't possibly get shoes back on.

They feel like little sausages. UGH.

Today at the doctors, I had gained 5 lbs in the past 2 weeks.

It has to be fluid retention, because I could hardly even eat for the past two weeks.

I have always had problems with foot swelling when I sit at a desk all day. There are some days my feet look like that too.

I've got big ankles and calves normally, too, smurfalicious. They just aren't THAT big normally!

Thanks for the compliment on the boobies. After they get engorged and then the baby is weaned, they may never be the same again. So, I better enjoy them in their present state while I can.

my feet swell a little if i stand all day, especially in heels. try putting your feet on something- even a little box or something. that might help.

By the way, I just noticed that one of the doctors in the same building as my ob/gyn is named DR. WOOTOM! HOLY SHIT, that scared me. If anything hurts, he probably just chainsaws it off of you!

I don't understand you parents, kids are a horrible investment. You dump money into this thing for 18 years, possibly more, lots and lots of money. And as soon as it starts making money it leaves and you see none of it. Thats bullshit!!! wtf?

After birth, women's breasts get engorged with milk to the point that they are sore and hard. Some women end up saggy from the drastic change in size.

Thank you. I have an appointment next week to get them done.

One of my very, very sweet friends got me a gift certificate to get my nails done, among other things. =-)

As you can see, my natural nails grow LONG.

those are just my plain unpolished nails. I'm lucky that they are very strong like that. When I go, I think I want them cut down a bit, shaped and then just buffed to a really high gloss with white pencil on the underside -- a really natural looking french manicure.

Glad you like my ta ta's...lol. You can see the marks still where my bra had been.

I've just become accostomed to back aches. They were way worse in the second trimester.
