I am so sorry man. I just thought about something like that happening to my younger brother and I've got wet eyes right now. May God give you the strength to get through this trying time.

so sorry for your loss. i'm sure he must have been a great guy like you. it's strange how the great ones die early. may peace be upon him. try to stay strong brother. all i can do is shake my head and feel sorrow. i don't know, i just don't know. sometimes you just don't understand why things happen. i am sure he will be dearly missed.

Thanks to all of you for the kind words, prayers, and support. It means everything at a time like this. We went today to make all the arrangements, so that is out of the way. Tomorrow will be visitations, and Sat will be the funeral. We had to get the local high school to do the service to accompany all the people and that still might not be big enough room. He was the fire chief in the town and the state has stepped in to do the ceremony. He deserves this and I am very happy on how it will be done for him.
