I call bullshit on keeping gains after a cycle!

Everyone here, especially the vets always say you can keep most of your gains after a cycle with the proper gear afterwards. If that true, wouldn't the advanced steroid user be huge. For example: a guy did 10 cycles in a reasonable amount of time, did the clomid, nolva etc. and gained let's say 12 lbs of muscle each cycle (I am low balling that number). That would be 120 lbs of Muscle. So, let say that guy started at 180, that would mean he is 300 lbs solid.
 
Do u know how difficult it is to put on 12lbs of muscle, especially after your 5th, 6th, 7th cycle. It's a long road with alot of hard work and proper(spell) diet!
 
NO, because I think as well as you have natural limit you also have an un-natural limit and each time you juice, the closer you are to that limit, and therefore the less the gains will be each cycle.....But I agree with you, it is almost impossible to keep all your gains..unless it is a mild cycle w/ mild roids, which you probably would have gained naturally anyway.....Just my opinion though....;) :D p.s. You keep a hell of a lot more with clomid and other drugs at the end..:D

But there is a point at which gains do not come easily - that is what you are neglecting to consider....

Thus it is 12 or more pounds frist cycle, and the next and the next... until the body stops responding. It's like when I first smoked a joint - I was floored. I can now smoke a whole 1/8 of skunk in 4 joints.

Diminished returns.
 
even 5-7 lbs of muscle each cycle let's say. it is still 60 lbs of muscle. I know each cycle more gear has to be added for bigger gains.

Presumably the 'gorrilla man' is so big at that point - he has to use just to maintain what he has....
 
I think you can't generalize the possibility to keep gains after a cycle. There are a lot of different factors that have an influence on somebodies ability for keeping his/her gains. Like genetics for example.

And you have to be constant after your cycles. I've seen many training partners juice up, make 15 lbs and after they finish, all they do is party and drink and don't train as hard as when they where cycling. Those are generally the people who complain afterwards telling you how useless steroids are bc once you stop you'll lose all your gains.

And for your reasoning: of course there is a natural (?) limit. The bigger you become, the less you grow on a cycle. First you may make 15 lbs or even 20 lbs but then you are lucky if you manage to make 10 lbs for the second cycle and 8 lbs for the third and so on.
 
Don't forget about taking time off between cycles. If you're able to train real hard between cycles and really bust your ass to keep what you've got and then you wait 4-6 months before the next cycle you'll be due to grow!!
