Last summer, in an effort to dump the last bit of 75 pounds I'd already lost, I made the retarded decision to go on the atkins diet. I was on it for a couple of months and when I went in for my annual, she took my blood and my total cholesterol was a whopping 248! She wanted to put me on Lipitor, but being 28 at the time my pride and ego would not permit it, and I informed her that I would like to fix this on my own.
Well, I just got my results today, and after months of working out, cutting out red mead and bad fats, and sugar, my total cholesterol is now...
162!!!
I am, needless to say, stoked.
