meh, i felt the same way too...then someone gave me this lil guy and now he's my boy.

Those dogs get funny looking as they age. For some reason their teeth seem to fall out easily and then you got this little growly thing with a busted grill giving you the sideeye from the arm of your couch.

try slogging thru the desert day in and out and maintaining a good bodyweight
difficult...as of now i'm a cardio machine, though i still lift weights have taken a back seat to good cardio endurance
 
I prefer bigger dogs like labs myself......but I could own a smaller dog like that, as long as it didn't yap alot. I hate yapping dogs. I wouldn't mind having a jack russell or a mini dobi or shnauz.

every jack russel i've ever met has been yippy
not a fan of that breed...and my little guy has a perfect disposition, never makes much noise.
people assume he is a yipper but he's chill
 
i live in a "dog friendly" part of town; they are allowed in the coffee shops and bars and most of the restaurants. even the most rough looking, macho guys here often have tiny lap dogs they lavish public affection on.....what's the big deal here? :confused:

labs are in the top 15 most intelligent breeds, maybe even top ten.
yorikes are up there too, with collies numero uno
