huge powder mess with protein tubs

does anyone else make a powdery mess with the big tubs of protein? it's like you have this 3.5 inch hole in the top to pull the huge scoop through (with your hand) and of course the protein powder is so fine it creates a mist of powder that spreads all over the counter. my weight gainer 2500 tubs by twinlab contains a scoop that also seems to somehow make the powder "cling" to it even though you have turned the scoop nearly 90 degrees and then it plops out in a heap into the blender, sending a fine, powdery cloud upwards out of the blender into the nearby airspace (like 2 foot radius) and it's like i am breathing it into my lungs and stuff. of course you can't really see it all and it sticks to everything......

anywayz, thanks for letting me let go with this rant. this has happened a jillion times in the past and i had to let it out- sorry, bros-

somebody come up with a new design or way already !!!!

Actually it is electrically charged, because the water content is very low. What you should do is use a conducting spoon (of metal). This will get rid of the problem. When I use a plastic spoon I hear spark sounds and the powder is flying around.

I refuse to use those humongous scoops they put in some wight gain powder. I look at how much is in wach one (usually about 1 cup) and I just equate for it by using more small scoops instead, makes less mess.
