If anyone knows how to explain simply how to edit text on websites let me know what the code is. I need to know how to make caps, bold, underline, bullet points, commas, apostrophes, text color, etc. GoDaddy apparently cant do this and never told me i needed to be a damn web programmer before buying their $10 dollar site. thanks

<b>bold</b>
<u>underline</u>

Bullets
<ul> start of bullet list
<li> first bulleted item</li>
<li>second bulleted item</li>
</ul> end of bullet list

<font size="2" face="Verdana" color="blue>
This is a paragraph.
</font>

thanks bor, ill play around with that and hit you up with questions if needed.

What is the website for? It might be easier to just do a Wordpress blog.

[/CODE]HTML is really basic and mostly self-explainatory. You can try googling basic HTML commands for a quick list. If you want to see how these things work, go to a basic site, right click, and view source. Heck, you can even do it on this page here:

Holy crap! This new Vista update pretty-fies HTML! Color-coordinated and numbered lines and all! Anyway, as I was saying:

CAPS underline bold
  • bullet

shows up as:

Code:

CAPS <u>underline</u> <b>bold</b><ul><li>bullet</li> </ul><br />
shows up as:</div>   <div>

It's just something you have to play with.

If anyone knows the tags for apostrophes and quotation marks that would be great

why are u using tags??

just look at the top for the toolbar and use those buttons by selecting text. just like microsoft word.

You should probably ask what app he's coding with before pointing to him to a potentially non-existent toolbar.

What are you using? Seriously, almost noone codes by hand. There are free/lighter versions of things like MS Visual Web Developer, which has way more than you need.
