Seriously though, I'm not for NAMBLA per se but I would like to see a thorough discussion. In ancient Greece the great philosophers like Plato and Socrates had teenage students that were also their lovers. In those times when great ideas were being discussed the concept of an older, learned gentleman taking a young boy under his wing as both an intellectual and sexual protege was de rigeur.

The boys would more often then not go on to marry women and lead heterosexual lives.

Look, I am never going to adopt or attempt to adopt a boy so I can "play" with him, but the fact that there is such a strong following for people who do that kind of stuff is an interesting phenomenon that bears examination. That's all I'm saying.

Hey I posted the topic that anabolic md linked to because I felt there were too many recycled threads today and I wanted to start a new one and stir debate. I was thinking of what to post about and I remembered about how HappyScrappy had a big thing about how you couldn't mention NAMBLA on here so sort of in memory of him I posted a thread on NAMBLA.

It had nothing to do with the pants around the ankles post.

Then when ana. md pressed me on it I just talked some more about NAMBLA and wondering why it's such a big deal and a phenomenon.
