FUNNY story about Sa-Tan (pronounce it with an SH and a long "A", SHAY-tan). The word actually means Stumbling Block or Impediment (fascinating thing the Qabala, seriously. Puts a whole different perspective on the Bible).HumanTarget said:look for me on Ebay, when Say-tan has you spinning on a rotisserie. i'll be selling ice water....
My ex-wife was Unitarian. They took them on field trips to learn about othe religions, like the Islamic Center off 75...vixensghost said:My neighbors are from Lebanon and I see them outside during prayer . My lil girl went over once, before I could stop her, and she started asking questions. They are good people and explained the whole process to her. How they must wash before prayer, etc.
I love to learn about other's faith.

Shaytan ...
Shaytan is derived from shata, (literally `burned'), because it was created from a smokless fire.
OR
shaytan is derived from shatana, which means the far thing. So, this implies the devil or shayton has a very different nature from us humans. hIS nature and ways are far away from The straight path
