How much less is you incline compared to your flat bench??

I use the bar for flat, dumbells for incline so its hard to tell. Right now I am benching 315 for 8 -10 reps, and inclining 10 reps with the 125lb'ers. The funny thing is my close grip bench is within 10lbs of my flat bench

Incline Bench: 225x20 275x10 315x3 340x1 (This may change tommorow!! haha)

Flat Bench: 225x24 275x12 315x7 325x5 335x3.5 365x1

Not too far behind, only by a few reps, and considering I havent tested max on Incline much, its probabally very close, since 340 was pretty easy on incline.

Same for me.

I haven't inclined in a few months, but it was always at least a good 50 lbs under my flat bench if I remember correctly.

My incline, close grip, and flat bench are all within 10lbs of each other. I don't really do flat benching anymore though.

ThanX Warpath!! But after seeing some guy blast out 405 for 12 reps with a reverse grip on flat bench like it was a joke, and another guy bang out 455 for 3 on the incline, I can see I got a long way to go!! haha I havent hit the juice yet though. ThanX again!

close grip pretty much what I can bench, my incline sucks.

best I've ever done was flat 325 x 1, close grip 275 x 6, incline 225 x 3

prolly because I have no upper chest :D

Incline Bench: 225x20

beast beast beast!!!

Just like me.
Wait, except I'm about 30 lbs heavier & about 100lbs weaker! LOL
My inclines are 65lb DBs for 3x15 reps. (That's as heavy as we have)

How much you weighing now NS?

I'm right around 240lbs, at about 11%bf, so up 60lbs from show day and the biggest I've ever been

Same here although I still flat bench.

I've got a really good upper chest, so maybe I'm just stronger than normal on inclines.

I've just always noticed that alot of people flat bench way more than the incline.

Good now I don't think my flat sucks any more.

There has been a few changes! My incline is now:

275x11 315x6 335x2.5 355x1

:D

Holy Smoke!
So I don't outweigh you anymore. You musta swole up like a tick after the show!
Anything coming up soon or you gonna take some time off of contest prep?

Pretty big % gap for me , probably due in part to me doing the 3 sets of inclines immediatly after the 4 sets of flat bench.

Mine are about the same or very close anyway... I lower the angle a bit, but even at the high incline angle, it is within 10%... both well over 400 now...

I guess Im weird bc my incline is so damn close to my flat bench. There couldnt be more than a 20 pound difference bw the 2 on my 1 rm. Im training DC now but my incline is 225 x 10 on it while my flat is 240 x 10. I feel like I have so much more explosion on incline than flat bench.
