The 9/10ths of a cent is part of the federal tax I think.

In all honesty I just got back from a short trip to hawaii and i saw diesel for $5.10+ at a few stations

Where is the nearest refinery? I imagine they don't have a pipeline either.

I guess the $3.63 I paid yesterday was a good deal then. At least the weather permits use of my lil Bugeye. She gets good fuel economy.
