How many times a week do you guys recommend doing chest

I usually work chest twice a week on Monday and Thursday, but sometimes I dont feel pumped if i do it twice a week so sometimes I'll work it three days a week and on the third day i will work it light---any suggestions I have heard a hundred things so i just listen to what my body tells me.
 
Thelegacy If I can add my .02 I say you are over training and 3 times a week is uncalled for Id go with 1 time a week maybe 2 times .Are you working out your hole body or just chest and arms?
 
I blast all my body parts to failure once a week and take Saturday and Sunday to rest, it seems to work pretty good for me for me. I do train abs 2-3 times a week though.

If you're training with optimal intensity once per week should be all it can take. I personally train one muscle group per day/every muscle group once a week. Anymore I feel is overtraining. If you hit chest hard enough it should take 6-7 days to recover unless you're a genetic mutant...most arn't and most take a full week to fully recover. 3 times a week is gross overtraining regardless of who you are and twice is overtraining for the majority.
