I'm pretty selfish these days. I only care about my family and so if they are my BFF's I'm a 8.5 out of 10.

My DH is my BFF and though I'm a raging bitch a couple times a year the rest of the time I temper it with love in the mean time.

Guess I'm all about family. But I am a people magnet and love making friends. I just don't go that "deep" except for a close circle of 4 or 5. They have dirt on me and we have good times. I would do anything for certain ppl. The rest don't even get their emails read. See? I'm selfish! LOL!

You rock so much and you know it, I wouldn't label it as selfish, you gotta know your priorities... and you do... still miss you warming this place up.

To those who are my friend. I let them know that I'll be there for them no matter what. To those who aren't. I let them know that they're fairweather friends. Some don't like that term, but they do understand.

Yeah I would say you are like me having acquaintences and then friends... I know that you are bout as loyal as they come though...
I think you would make about as solid as a friend as they come EnderJE.

I am a good friend. Honor, loyalty, respect, and hard work are virtues that I try to maintain at all times. Once I am friends with someone then I will go to hell and back again for them as long as they uphold the same values. If the fail and the failure affects me then I sever the friendship. I also do not accept friends who cheat on spouses/ SO or steal or do other dishonorable things as that means I can not trust them. My trust has to be earned and I do not give my friendship lightly. I have a small group of close friends and a larger group of acquaintances who i am very friendly with and enjoy spending time but there is a barrier due to time together or some issue which prevents me from fully accepting them as friends. As far as a number goes... I will take jerseyrugger's position... a great friend 10, and a terrible enemy 10.
