little do your employees know that they could gain 5-10 minutes of freedom by distracting you with snackalicious items.

I could never function in that kind of environment. my boss often doesn't come in, and when he does, it's around 1 or 1:30. he's super laid-back and doesn't even know what we're doing much of the time. however, i do sit in his office...his desk is 10 feet behind me. at first, i hated that, but it's actually interesting, because peeps are coming in to talk about this and that...sometimes you hear some interesting company shit, etc. better to learn, or take advantage.

i work from home whenever i need to, etc...lots of flexibility. of course, it's not enough, because i'm a malcontent who hates everything, and i think about quitting all the time.

but still, it's a good situation, relatively speaking.

actually, it's funny because there are a few peeps who actually keep a stash of snack/candy in their drawer for me.

the newbie sups only harrass the recently hired, the ones they think they can intimidate.

they know not to foike with me..after 20-plus years they have all seen my temper bubble over the lid on a few occassions.
