How can I get more protein...

Im 16 at 150 pounds, and I really dont understand how i can get 150 grams of protein a day. I cant do legs yet so I'm not that hardcore of a lifter so I might not need that 150, but if I did, how the hell are you supposed to get that much? I mean in the morning ill get like 10, my roast beef sandwich for lunch another 25, a burrito when i get home 12, dinner (changes) like 20, and then a 20 gram protein shake...a total of about 90....

That's tough for you? Man, I get 309 a day. I'm 17 at 175.5 lbs. Protein powder, tuna, chicken breasts, cottage cheese, eggs. My sources of protein. Steak if I decide to be unpoor for a day.

Why can't you do legs?

jbox, maybe you have to make some changes in your diet.
Like Tom, I can get 300 gr. easly from real food: fish, chicken breast, red meat.
If you want to stick to your diet or you can't change it, you can add some whey prot powder. Two scopes a day will give you about 50 extra gr of prot.

Dude, you have to hit those legs right now !!

Cheers.

I agree with the above bro. I never had a problem workin' out my legs. I personally would concentrate on a nice weight, heavy but nothing real crazy yet, but mainly worry about your FORM, get in to good habits now. Put together a good workout schedule and stick to it. Protein should be an easy thing nowadays with all the stuff out there, eat a protein bar, and you can grab 20 to 25 grams, etc.. Good Luck bro.

Your body needs prot from real food !
I would recommend Whey as a fast absorption - low cal/carb/fat complement ... Never as a replacement of whole meals.

Are you in a diet or something?
What did you read to end pushing like 7 scopes of Whey per day?

You don't need whole food. I believe the protein powder is considered whole food anyway, just ground up into powder. Either way, as long as you get the right amount of calories and macronutrients, you're okay.

no im eating alot of protein also i just want too make the maximum gain in two months possible. im wanting to bulk up so i can get a job as a doorman/bouncer in september when i start college.

the whey is just to give me more protein cause eating all the time isnt easy
