How big can a person over 6 foot tall get???

As we know, most of the bodybuilders are between 5'6-5'10. It is easier for them to look big, because they have shorter muscle bellies and just their shorter frame helps them pack on mass a lot faster.

I am between 6'2 and 6'3. Know, I know that I will never be as big as a pro or something, but I look at member pictures and see someone who is jacked and I think to myself that I could look like that and then i look at their height and they are usually under 6 foot. Are their any 6 footers out their that have gone through what i'm talking about?? Just how big can a taller person get? It's going to take a LOT longer to get there too right?? Peace, Iron

bah, dont make genetics an excuse, it will only get you no where. i'm 6'3 and i went from 145 to 236 in the course of 4 years. i will never be on stage or nothing, but i dont really care. i lift for other reasons

And why would you want to be? The pros might as well rename their "beauty pagent" a freak show.

Arnold was close to 6'2'' and he weighed what about 225 - 250 at his peak. And he didn't look like a "freak" either like most of the guys today.

If you are over 6 feet tall, you can still get very very big. My boyfriend is 6'3 and has been close to 300 lbs of beef!! I have heard as well that shorter guys can fill out better and faster but there is evidence to prove otherwise.
Just look at Arnold, for instance. Even though he has really good genetics, he also worked hard to attain his goals.
Also, Ferrigno was a tall guy and filled out very nicely. There are others.
Don't let your height bring you down or doubt yourself. Arnold always had a positive attitude and even attributes this attitude to his success...and I believe it.

20 pounds on a tall guy has 1/2 the impact of 20 pounds on a short guy.

It is easier for them to pack mass but if you can be ripped at 6'3" then many women will not deny you.

I think short guys with huge chests look.....well I don't envy them. Much more impressive to be tall and ripped. Arnold competed quite effectively at 6'2".

ps: Let it be known that I love Arnold...I have pictures of him all around my room.:D

6'2" and 220 here. My ultimate goal will be 250 at about 7% bf. I saw a recent bodybuilding competition on tv and there was a guy 6'2" and 250. His bodyfat was probably around 3-4%. He had a great build but his legs looked a bit too thin. I'd say the hardest thing for us is to build sufficient muscle on our legs.

I agree about the leg thing. I am 6' and have long legs and a shorter upper body. Pain in the ass packing on mass on my legs. I am weighing in around 220 now. I figure 230 will look good.
