***How bad is it to sleep with someone that has a Boyfriend ?? **

you dont say that women are property. instead, you insinuate it in your analogy.

in response to your question, i would not participate in many things that i believe are wrong - however, i do not see having sex with a girl who is in a relationship as neccessarily being wrong.

I don't claim to live up to his standards, but the young man is correct.

The standard is the golden rule. The fact that she willingly spreads her legs is irrelevant. It's about our behavior, not hers.

His imagining we should recognize a level of decency and consideration towards others isn't the problem. The problem is the rest of us imagining its silly to do so.

and the justification that "life is not a disney movie" is a cop out for people's lack of morality - and the subsequent claim that since no one else is moral, why should I?
for my own part, i use the phrase "life is not a disney movie" to express my view that the characters in real life have perhaps more sinister motivations/driving forces than those in the fairytales most were weaned on

i dont disagree that we should recognize a degree of decency and consideration unto others. it seems to me that the root of our disagreement is that i do not believe that a man having sex with a 'taken' girl under the circumstances described in TTs conundrum are indecent or inconsiderate.

I agree with most of your posts, your intelligent and mostly correct. But - I am not telling you what you are thinking, I'm not sure you mean what you say here.

I think what you are implying here is that, if everyone just finally gives up and realizes that life is not a Disney movie, and begin to act immoral - just like everyone else, then they would be fine!

I imagine he would respond that regardless of her choice, it represents you as an individual taking direct action to harm another. Im certain in most cases the significant other would feel somewhat less than pleased with someone else screwing their wife/gf. People tend to feel sort of bad about that kind of thing.

lol ;) people acting as if life werent a disney movie is not neccessarily immoral ;)

...not neccessarily nice though ;)

this argument wouldnt be happening if everyone would realise that in real life, the little mermaid AND cinderella would dump thier respective prince charming on his sweet ass if someone better came along

good thing that GoldenDelicious guy isnt a cartoon character ;)

apart from it being misrepresentation rather than presentation, i would put forth that the the action would be indirect, and also that its purpose was not to harm another individual, but rather to engage in sexual activity with the girl. any harm would be merely incidental.

true, but a persons displeasure at being cuckolded is not neccessarily correlatable with the morality of the situation.

i personally get upset that supermodels do not come into my room naked and do all sorts of nasty things to me. doesnt make their behaviour (or lack of it ;) ) immoral. isnt terribly subtle :)

this statement does not make sense to me.

you've already decided your fate in relationships with this statement - your lack of faith and trust in others predisposes your outcome and reveals your insecurity about the opposite sex.

you say that eventually cinderella will leave prince charming for someone better.

you either have little faith in people - or you are insecure in your relationships with females so you justify the possible outcome (being left) by saying it is human nature.
