This is what makes the situation more complicated...the co-worker who set this up. If not for that factor, it'd be soooo easy.

Life is full of situations that SEEM difficult till you just go and do them. And once you do them you realize, "Oh heck, the earth didn't swallow me whole."
I knew a fella that said it was no uncommon for him to pick up a young lady for a date and just minutes into the car ride he would realize that he just wasn't as into her as he was initially when they had exchanged numbers/whathaveyou. So he would turn to her in the car and say, "You know, I just don't think that this is going to work out. It's still early and I am sure you have at least a dozen other people you can call and go out with and still have a very enjoyable evening as can I. I don't want to waste your time and I certainly won't waste mine."
I was MORTIFIED when he told me that. So I asked, "And what was the reaction you got from these women?"
He said it was varied. Some would start welling up and crying (obviously the ones who took it personally) and some would say, "You know what, you're right." and would be most appreciative as THEIR precious time was not being wasted on a date that wouldn't go anywhere.
I mean who wants to go on a date that THEY KNOW will go nowhere?
EVERYONE should value their time above everything else.
Well shit...I was texting her planting a little seed of doubt about meeting up. She asked me if I still thought it was a good idea. i responded that "we seemed to have too strong of personalities" and that "we should just chalk this one up as a loss". She responded that she called her friend (my coworker) and she said that we HAD to go out at least once before decieding anything....WTF?!?!
And as if this cannot get any worse, she just asked me how I felt about tattoos becasue she has a "large tribal" on her right upper arm and wants to wear a tank top without shocking me. Oh yea, and she also said that she's kind of a prude and doesn't make out on the first date. Jesusfuckingshootmenow.
Fuck it, I'm going to have fun with this and make fun of her the entire time with very dry witty underminding humor. Since she's a head case though, this might just turn her on.

So I made the mistake of lining up this date with this girl I was set up with through a friend at work. We had sent a few emails back and forth and spoken on the phone once before setting up the date for Tuesday night.
I just got off of a 2 hour phone conversation with her and now want to step in front of a bus. Let's run down the list of cons just expressed to me, NEWLY found out.
CONS:
-She has been raped
-She has a son from a Hispanic/Black man that has 3 other kids with 3 other mothers.
-Her 57 year old father lives with her.
-She spanks her son religiously(even while we were on the phone)
-She uses double negatives.
-She comes from a very broken home.
Holy fuck, could there not be any more red flags here.
PROS:
-She's hawt
