Hitting Biceps

GeneticMutation

New member
Got a question about pinning bis. Normally I don't like to, however, doing ed injections of tren along with bi-weekly injections of test/eq necessitate it.

Now, sometimes when i hit 'em, as the needle passes into the muscle, the bicep seems to flex, or "jump". No pain is experienced, however to be on the safe side I pull out and attempt a new location. Sometimes it takes me 2 or 3 tries to find a good spot.

My question is: what is causing this? Hitting/grazing a nerve?

Second,: if i just continued with the injection, even if my bis jumped, would it cause any damage? It's quite fustrating feeling like a human pincushion sticking myself 3 or 4 times in in same area.

Thanks in advance.

why dont you mix up ur compounds? less inj. shoulder and glutes always work fine for me that gives 4 spots. Can help with the bi injecs though. Ive never care to venture there.

I think that is just muscle spasm from irritation of muscle by needle.
Does the whole muscle contract (which is not likely), or just a small portion of musce 'jumps'?
If only a small portion of muscle around the needle twitches, then you can try the following method:
Push the needle slowly. If twitch happens, let the twitch pass, then push the needle a little deeper. Then inject a small amount very slowly. If there is no further untoward effect, then you can finish the injection.

It is not likely that you are hitting a large nerve each time (there are no large nerves that pass THROUGH biceps muscle).
I often feel a small twitch in whatever muscle I try to inject in, and both with oil and water based injections. I inject anyway and nothing bad has ever happened.
